Rachel and the TreeSchoolers review

I'm always looking for educational movies for Emma to watch. She is still to young to go to preschool in our area because her birthday is in January so we do our own "preschool" at home. This dvd was very cute and educational about rain. Its very hard to explain to a 2 year old about how the weather works and they did a very good job of explaining it.

It aids air circulation with my laptop's built in fans and I definitely noticed a cooling difference. I would recommend some of the other chill mats if you are doing some internet surfing from the couch. People WANT to be in a Wheelchair?!?!?!

As I was flipping threw channels last night before going to bed I stopped on a show called Taboo. I just happened to be on an episode where a lady WANTED to be a paraplegic! She used a wheelchair and wore leg braces BUT could walk there was nothing wrong with her! There was no words to describe what I was feeling. Me and Tim just sat there with out mouths open! 

Now this lady had a disorder where he body was telling her she should not be able to walk, and she believes she should be in a wheelchair. I was speechless with all of this I can accept people have many different mental disorders, But what burned my bridges is she wants a surgery to make her a paraplegic!!  

I could not believe what I was hearing it made me sick to my stomach! I have been in a wheelchair for 4 years now from a car accident! There is not a day that goes by that I don't wish I could walk again my life would be so much easier. And to think that there is people who wants to in my shoes ( or should I say Wheels) living the life I live with struggles everyday makes me so MAD! I am baffled that someone would want to be a paraplegic its not fun at all I don't understand how someone would want to live this way??

Emma loves to play games I think a family game night will defiantly be in our future! Even though candy land is fun we try throw in some educational games that she think are just as fun! Well they are not to many out there for he age. 

I was given an opportunity to review Thinkfun Roll and Play game for toddlers. Its a cute stuffed cube perfect for small hands with different colors on each side. You roll the cube and what color it lands on you draw that card. Each card has a different topic like actions, animal sounds, body parts, colors, counting, and emotions. This is a super simple game with no winner of loser just plain fun! Emma REALLY enjoyed this game she was laughing and having a great time not realizing she was actually learning!! We have played this game several times a day for the past week and she hasn't got tired of it yet! 

Shhhh...I didnt say this but its actually kind of fun for adults too.

As only a few weeks until our Little bundle of joy will be making his appearance, I have been looking for something super cute for Tim to wear at the delivery and I came across  Daddy Scrubs!! I have the say when they came I made him try them on before he left for work. At first he wasn't so sure about them but once her wore them around the house for a while he warmed up to the ideal.
